For sports such as running, cycling, triathlon, skiing, and low-speed motorsports (under 160 km/h), we recommend using Chronelec RF or RF-I transponders, as well as RFID systems.
These transponders remain in standby mode and are activated by an active loop. The loop serves only to trigger activation — communication between the RF decoder and the transponder then occurs via radio.
Developed by Chronelec, this technology ensures high detection reliability and accurate timing, even when multiple transponders are detected simultaneously.
