The RFID transponder, also known as an RFID tag, is particularly recommended for events with large numbers of participants, especially when collecting transponders after the event is difficult.
The tag can be attached directly to a race bib or bicycle. When used near the human body, metal or carbon, it should be kept as far away from the surface as possible to ensure reliable detection.
Important: RFID transponders are designed for passage detection. This technology does not provide high-precision timing.
